The Brinery is pleased to announce that we’ve just jarred a very special batch of Tantrific Tantre Sauerkraut, made exclusively with Tantre Farm-grown Cabbage, Carrots and Parsnips! As you may know the Brinery was birthed out of the fertile fields of Tantre Farm, so this kraut close to our briney hearts. Brinery employees Greg Hart and Evan Dayringer, both Tantre alumuni, crafted this special barrel.
This is the first sauerkraut we have made featuring parsnips! Their aromatic flavor lofts the roots’ earthtones into a bright palate-shine.
This special kraut was made exclusively for the Tantre Farm Thanksgiving Share. If you would like a jar, you can buy a spare share from Tantre Farm at the Ann Arbor Farmers’ Market on Saturday, November 19. While these shares were pre-ordered, there are a few extra available. These need to purchased within the hours of 7:00 AM-NOON or 2:00 PM-5:00PM, while supplies last, so make sure to get there quick! They also include great things like root vegetables, greens, and dried beans!
